General Power of Attorney
Before me, a Notary Public, duly qualified in and for the aforesaid State, personally came and appeared;
Sowon Kim, a person of the full age of majority and a resident of 6083 Bent Mountain Rd, Roanoke, Virginia, 24018 and with US Passport No. 66181420, herein referred to as “Principal”,
b. To commence, prosecute, discontinue, or defend any and all actions or other legal proceedings involving Principal's estate or any part thereof, or involving Principal's estate or any part thereof, or involving any matter which Principal or Principal's estate may be concerned;
c. To sign, endorse, or assign any note, check, or other instrument of any nature whatsoever, negotiable or non-negotiable, for deposit, discount, collection, or otherwise;
d. To write checks upon of otherwise withdraw and deposit funds from bank accounts belonging to Principal and to enter remove the contents of all safe deposit boxes rented by Principal; to ask, demand, sue for, recover, collect, and receive each and every sum of money, debt, account, legacy, bequest, interest, dividend, annuity and demand which now is or hereafter shall become due, owing or payable, belonging to or claimed by Principal and to use and take any lawful means for the recovery there of by legal process or otherwise, and to execute and deliver a satisfaction or release therefor, together with the right and power to compromise or compound any claim or demand;
e. To vote in person or proxy, to sell or otherwise dispose of or cause to be registered in the name of the nominee selected by Attorney-in-Fact, and to transfer, redeem, convert, or exchange any security that now belongs to Principal or that may belong to Principal in the future, or in which Principal may have interest, and to make, execute, and deliver an endorsement assignment, certification, or other document in connection with any security;
f. To purchase, acquire, lease, or invest in property, real or personal, tangible or intangible, including, but not limited to, any security, option, or other type of investment or whatsoever kind or nature;
g. To sell, grant options upon, or lease any lands, buildings, or other improvements or appurtenances to lands now belonging to Principal, or that Principal may owe in the future, or in which may have an interest, and to execute and cause to be recorded any all deeds other documents that may be necessary with the respect to any transaction involving Principal property;
h. To borrow or lend money or property, and to execute and delivery notes with or without security, and for such purposes to deliver and receive any documents that may be necessary with the respect to any transaction involving Principal's property;
i. To contract for, buy, sell, exchange, transfer, endorse and in any legal manner deal in and with the same; and to mortgage, transfer in trust, or otherwise encumber the same to secure payment of a note of performance of any obligation or agreement;
j. To instruct any entity or person having custody or control of any assets of Principal in which Principal have an interest, in any agency, fiduciary, or other capacity, and Principal authorize that person or entity to rely upon the instructions of Principal's Attorney-in-Fact;
k. To pen accounts of any nature whatsoever in Principal's name or in the name of the Attorney-in-Fact;
l. To pay all sums of money that may now or in the future be owed by Principal, whether the obligation is incurred by Principal or by Attorney-in-Fact, to compromise or submit to arbitration any claim, whether it is against Principal or in Attorney-in-Fact's favor, and to receive or give releases in connection with claims against Attorney-in-Fact or Principal's favor;
3. Principal declares that the authority given to Attorney-in-Fact in this document shall remain in full force unless and until such time as the undersigned revokes this document and the powers of the Attorney-in-Fact in writing, notwithstanding future or periodic legal incapacity which Principal may suffer.
